My posters i designed based on the the idea of an alternative story of a typical disney story, So these films are aimed at the older generation of Disney viewers. I designed my poster to appeal to them by making the poster slightly darker and more mysterious which my hope would be to intrigue the audience to know more, this is why on my posters i kept the story line to a minimal to make the audience want to know more.Unlike conventional Disney posters my posters do not feature a Prince, allies and villans to the Protagonist.

This is my first Poster for my film 'Rotten' this is a story of the planning behind a princess who bites an apple that is supposed to kill her but instead gives her dual personality , I based this on snow white and alternative stories on original films. My poster is unconventional as it doesn't display the happy fairytale look most original posters portray it shows a darker side but also has happy parts. It is produced by Disney as shown at the bottom.
In my film i have chosen to represent girls and how they look, act and are portrayed in society. I chose not to put the Princess front on the poster for this one because I wanted the poster to sell the film not who is one it, even though I wrote ' Starring Emma Watson' at the bottom this was to get a popular name on the poster to create a 'buzz' about the film . My story is about the Character having two personalities a like 'Jackal and Hyde' I did the writing for ' Bite Me' in black and white to represent the ying and yang of her personalities. The message of my film and poster is that you have control over who you are, how you look and act , and that you shouldn't let anyone or anything control that.
My target audience is aged range 15-25 which is for the people that as a young child enjoyed the original films and now enjoy the spin offs.
